Hello MATHEDCC people:

Below is a first call for papers for the MAA meetings (Joint Mathematics
Meetings) in Washington DC, January 19-22, 2000.

The deadline for submission of a paper to this contributed paper session is
August 10, 1999. Contributed papers are brief presentations of innovative
work in the field - usually 10 to 15 minutes each. Abstracts are published
in the AMS Abstracts of the Proceedings of the Joint Mathematics Meetings.

If you are doing some interesting work in teaching math via the Web please
send us a proposal.

E-mail proposals to me at smithb@management.mcgill.ca

Thanks

Brian

P.S. I will be away between July 5 and July 21. I will reply to all
