At my school, administrators like teh PResident and Vice PResident for
Academic Affairs are non-teaching faculty. Also librarians and counselors.
I understand why the Pres., etc. should be faculty, but I've never
understood why counselors and librarians are classed as faculty.

Same rights, but not the same responsibilities, for obvious reasons.

Yes, we have tenure for teachers, counselors, librarians and presidents.
