<< I was nearly tossed out of a Pic-n-Save once for trying to convince the
manager that he was confusing my students by letting his employees write
things like .89 cents and 3 for .99 cents. >>
I got into the same kind of trouble twice!!
Once at a local store called Ross. This is a discount store and they have
huge signs throughout the store that say, "DON'T PAY DEPARTMENT STORE
PRICES!" BUT, they also have a big circle/slash over those words. I tried
to explain that this was a double negative, but to know avail!
Same problem at a local Target (like Wallmart)..... The big sign, "Say NO to
solicitors!" Again with a big circle/slash. Sheez!!
