I had a student ask me if he could go to a car dealer who advertised a
"cost plus 10" sale , and offer cost plus 10 cents for a car. He then
planned to introduce the man with him as his lawyer. He asked what I
thought his chances were!
I use this story to encourage accuracy in language usage.
