I don't want to copy his entire message here, but just want to thank him for
his comments. I'm more convinced than ever that we never understand
completely, just better.
He did bring up something that made me reflect on something I learned
SEVERAL years ago in grad school. Even the concept of ordered pairs is
"fuzzy." What is the "first element"? Isn't the underlying meaning of
(a,b) {{a},{a,b}}?
