HI

Good luck with your efforts

I have written an entire course online and the math symbols etc are
difficult.

To use a Word equation, you can save the equation as a GIF and then import
it as a graphic. One of the best programs I have run across is Snagit32. It
is a screen capture program $39.95 less educators discount from Techsmith. You
can download a shareware versionfrom the web. It lets you capture any
equation you write anywhere and paste it into a web page. You get to name it
also.

For a live interactive math , there is nothing better than Maplesoft's
MathView. All the viewer needs is a plug-in to see it, explore with it and
play with it.

Good Luck
