[MATHEDCC] HTML and Math

Here's the best method I've found to make HTML with math symbols which
won't be useful to many: Use Mathematica 3.0.

The new Mathematica has point and click tablets for just about any
notation. The ones mentioned in the first post on this topic are
simple. When finished, just save as HTML. A directory is created and
gifs are automatically created and anchored. Then just FTP the
directory to the site.

Here's an example which I did with almost no tweaking. I wrote this when

someone questioned the value of determinants at a meeting I went to
once. Pardon me for stroking my gray beard.

Folks interested in linear algebra teaching may like

which was produced the same way. It's pretty big.

A friend assures me that Maple does the same job, and so does
NisusWriter on the Mac which has the full math editor built in.
