Pima Community College is the fifth-largest multi-campus community college in
the nation. It is located in Tucson, Arizona, a multicultural southwestern
city of approximately 450,000.
Instructional Faculty Openings for Academic Year 1996-1997 include THREE
positions in MATHEMATICS.

Minimum Requirements: Applicants must be certified/eligible for certification
by the State Board of Directors for Community Colleges of Arizona. Minimum
certification requirement is a Master's degree or higher earned degree from an
accredited college or university with at least 24 semester hours or 36 quarter
hours of upper division and/or graduate credit in mathematics.

Primary Duties: Providde instruction and conduct classes within scope of
defined subject area using various teaching methods, techniques and
technologies. Periodically update (develop, review and revise) curriculum.
Prepare classroom materials, assess student academic achievements and provide
ongoing academic advising. Provide multiple teaching strategies to respond to
various student learning styles of a diverse student body.

Closing Date: Open until filled. Applications received by April 26, 1996
will be reviewed first. Subsequent cut-off dates may be established
