Don't feel lonely! When doing the research for my dissertation, I had
the DeKalb College data processing folks run the numbers for me on success
rates (A, B or C) in college algebra. The results were dismal. Over a
four quarter period in 1994, our success rate was about 48%.
Sad but true.
If your institution figures out how to improve this, please let us all
know how!!
