Applications problem: This may be of use---

I am working on creating a function for minutes of daylight vs. day of
the year to illustrate the sine curve. I found the data displayed very
nicely at the Naval Observatory (just point your web browser to it).
You can select a city or use longitude and latitude. Printing it out
takes a little effort but there are instructions on how to do it by
using your word processor.
