Intermediate Algebra is a high school course. College Algebra is a harder
course and, thus, satisfies the standards of completing a college level math
course for a college degree.

I do think it would be watering down the standards to call Int Alg College
Algebra. I teach both classes and they are quite different in the level of
what we expect in thinking, etc.
