But we have three dedicated computers at each of two doors for students
to "log -In" our mathg lab. They have to log IN/OUT on the same computer.
Computers are not connected. The reason we have three is that we put 1/3
of our staff on each computers. Each Friday about 4pm a lab tech comes
and dumps the weeks check IN/OUT. If a student forgets to log out, at
midnite the computers automatically clean the "clock." We instructors get
a print out of the previous weeks attendance by 10:30 am on Monday. We do
not act as policemen and realize that students will find ways to beat the
system.
