Whoops - It wasn't in solving equations of the form x 1 = 0 that
Mathematica goofs. It is in graphing the cube root of x. Mathematica will
not accept any domain other than x > or = to 0. It states the cube root of
negatives is not a machine sized number. Sorry- I hit this problem 2
quarters ago and my memory isn't what it used to be!!
