One thing that needs to be considered when we read all the opinions on the
use of graphing calculators in Intermediate Algebra...............

This board is full of techno-junkies!!! Who else loves to sit in front of a
computer and read stuff like this! 8-)

I know a LOT of teachers that think that having a graphing calculator
anywhere NEAR their classroom is out right cheating.

This argument will go on for probably all of the years that I will teach.
This technology is changing the way many of us teach..... but there will
always be those who won't want to use it. So, even if we do use it in our
classroom, we need to be sure that the student can adjust to their next math
class that may not use it.
