The IRS uses what the professor in question should use: *.pdf files that can
be read by the free version of Adobe Acrobat. Adobe sells a program that
will produce pdf files; the cost is $295. I saw no mention of a lower
priced 'academic version' which was brought up by a list member.

I'm still hunting for the best way to read the occasional *.ps file that
appears on the net. Does anyone know about this?
