Incremental approach to topics. This allows a fundamental facet of a
concept to be taught and worked on over 1+ weeks before teaching the
next facet of the concept. This has implications for how you plan your
lessons and how you set up your assignments.
Daily emphasis on knowledge base and word problems. The knowledge base
can evolve as you need it.
Now that you have the idea, I believe you can do this with most texts.

I believe that the texts should be taught from a problem-solving
perspective with a cognitive strategy established day one. Then I would
like the problems in the text arranged incrementally according to their
mathematical structure.
