The tutors in our Math Lab at Collin County C. C. are provided the
opportunity to attend two or three training sessions each semester
with pay. They are encouraged but not required to attend. The
training covers general tutoring practices, how to handle problems
that arise in the lab, and graphing calculator use. The training
sessions are lead by the Math Lab director or by math faculty.
