[MATHEDCC] Learning Outcome Assessments for Mathematics

Our college is being asked to provide learning outcome assessments for math
classes for North Central Association. An acceptable measure is "essay
questions blindly scored by faculty across department, division, school or
college". Since I am the only person at my college implementing the AMATYC
standards, it would be fun to team up with someone from another college to
trade essay exams. We could wait until after finals, xerox copies of the
exams, and mail them to each other to score. We would benefit from the
experience by sharing our ideas for exam questions, and perhaps writing up
our results for a future presentation. The two exams could be different,
and we would each provide the criteria for grading. Anyone interested?
