Positions: Two full-time, tenure track positions in mathematics are
available, starting Fall, 1999. Position #11866 is a day position.
Position #11906 is a late afternoon/evening position. Courses range from
developmental mathematics through calculus. Instructors must also advise
students, be involved in committee work on a discipline, divisional, and
college level, and have ten scheduled office hours per week.
Qualifications: Master's degree in mathematics or mathematics education
with previous teaching experience. Applicant's degree must contain a
minimum of 24 semester graduate hours in pure mathematics. College level
teaching experience is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education
and experience.
Starting Date and Assignment: September, 1999. Salaries normally range
from $31,600 to 46,300, but are dependent on education and experience. This
is a three quarter academic year assignment with additional opportunities to
earn significant additional income through overload and summer remuneration.
