YES!! I have been teaching back at WCC for 11 years, and have really
noticed a change. My colleagues have also noticed this change. We have
been debating why? One possibility seems to be that more people have the
opportunity to continue their education because of the availability of
funds so that we are getting a more diverse population of students who
are in school for many different reasons. I am also having students
continue to stay in a class who obviously (to me ) willnot pass the
course. Beats me?
