"Thank goodness"? It should frighten us that it is "not just a Cincinnati
condition." It is more or less true here, according to my experience and
the comments of colleagues. Could it be a problem with our perception?
It's hard to devise an explanation if it is a sudden, general condition.

Years ago Mager wrote a little booklet called "They really oughta wanta"
(or something like that) challenging us to descriminate between the things
that we can control and the things we can't. Are we, like the generals,
trying to fight a new war with the strategies and tactics of the last one?
