Yes! We give the COMPASS placement test also and 93% of our new students
are placing into Prealgebra or Elementary Algebra despite whatever high
school math they've had. I thought maybe this was more a KY phenomena due
to the tremendous changes in the K-12 program. I'm glad to know its not
just us!
