The TI-83 is superior to the TI-89 & the TI-92+ for statistics. TI has
promised a "flash" statistics package for these calculators this fall which
is supposed to provide the features that are available on the 83. Until
this is actually available, the 89 and 92/92+ are inferior.

Jerry

Subject: [MATHEDCC] statistics calculator

What is the best calculator for teaching statistics?
I know about the TI-83 but suspect it has been
improved upon in the 90 series but I don't know. I am
looking for a calculator which can handle t tests and
correlation, etc.
