<< I joined this list to learn about issues regarding Math Education
in the Two-Year Colleges, not to be judged "worthy" or "unworthy" to be a
member of the list according to some opinions I may or may not have. If you
all have such energy to expend, may I suggest that you use those energies at
your local homeless shelter or soup kitchens where you can really make some
difference in someone's life. Also, while you are at it, try to instill a
little self-esteem in your students in order to make them productive members
of society and help them break the cycle of poverty and failure into which
they have been born and reared. >>
of course, such comments may lead to your being deemed "unworthy" of
membership in this fine institution... :>)
