Fortunatley, none of the full-time math instructors here are like that.
although I have been told by two students who wanted to take a class for
which they did not have the pre-requisite math course in response to my
point that the reason they couldn't take the course was because they were
not prepared enough to have a reasonable chance of passing it: "Don't worry
about that. We're taking ____________________ . Everybody passes his classes."

Note; We have some outstanding adjunct instructors. This man is not one
of them.
