Is there a way to display exact answers? =20
For instance, x^2 - 2x -1 =3D0
exact answer is 1 + or - sqrt(2)
decimal approximation is 2.414, -0.414

I know the TI-92 will give the exact answer (with the square root sign) =
and the TI-83 won't. I don't know about the others.

Thanks in advance. :-)
