UNM Valencia in Los Lunas, New Mexico has class caps of 19 on Pre-and
Beginnning Algebra and 22 on all our other math and stats classes. We
sometimes go one or two over cap, but no more than that.

Our department (at Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City,
Michigan) has been discussing what the maximum class size for math
courses should be. Currently, we have a max of 25 on Pre-Algebra and
Beginning Algebra and a max of 30 on most other courses. How does this
compare to class max's at your school?
I appreciate any response.
