A few things I would "tell the companies" to put into the TI-87:
2^15 color spectrum with 3-d 2^15 by 2^15 by 2^15 pixel resolution with
holographic animation.
Java-enhanced internet connectivity via satellite.
Environmentally benign materials and production.
Sound Recovery System with Mega-Bass.
Software development studio.
Matlab, Maple, Derive, Mathematica and Theorist burned into PROM.
...and free to all who may benefit from them. Then we can start talking stable
curriculum=)
