[MATHEDCC] homework discussion

For the most part, students asking homework questions are interested in
learning. However, if the instructor is not willing to place a time limit
on the questions, the students may try to avoid covering any new material.
"Could you do another one like that? What about problem 32?" I say this,
because it was one of _my_ techniques in high school to get out of doing
work in class. I didn't have difficulty with the homework, but with a few
of my friends was often able to get out of a class by continuing to ask
questions.

We do need to be open to all questions from students, but office hours or
tutorial centers may be a better way to answer homework questions than
taking up half of class.
