THE ADOBE ACROBAT READER
Adobe Acrobat
Allows documents to be displayed and printed with full formatting
intact - this is called PDF or Portable Document Format. Photographs,
detailed typesetting and layout, tables, and illustrations all appear the
way they would in the corresponding printed document. This is not the same
as HTML documents which are dependent on the browser the user may have
installed on their computer. Acrobat pages are generally larger than HTML
pages and do take longer to download, but the results are worth it.
To view or print an Acrobat PDF file, you need the free Adobe Acrobat reader
software.
YOU ONLY HAVE TO INSTALL THE READER SOFTWARE ONCE
Once you have downloaded the Reader, you can display the PDF file. You
have the option of configuring your browser to immediately start the Reader
and display the PDF, or you can download the PDF file and view it later.
