Coverage  name: omerhuc

     This coverage was developed by combining polygon 
coverages of Omernik's ecological regions with 
polygons of USGS hydrologic units.

     Contained in this coverage are two special items 
PERCENT and HUMAN which are described along with the 
other items below:


ECO            numeric code, representing ecoregion 
type, combined with HUC value to create unique 
value OMERHUCCHA

ECOREGION Omernik's ecological region 

HUC            numeric code, representing USGS 
hydrologic unit, combined with ECO value to create 
unique value OMERHUCCHA

OMERHUCCHA     unique value resulting from combining 
the code for Omernik's ecoregion with the USGS HUC code 
value

PERCENT        percent of the riparian area, of each 
omerhuc polygon, which is forested

HUMAN          percent of omerhuc polygon which is under 
human influence, this was determined by aggregating the 
SAA land cover classes of developed, agriculture and 
urban resulting in a new class of human influence.
