Passive Ozone StudyThe NPS-funded passive ozone study of over 60 sites in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park that have been monitored for ozone pollution since May 2001 utilizing close to 40 volunteers. This information will be mapped later on this year by the University of Denver, which will correlate the measured ozone exposures with sensitive vegetation and trails that put Park visitors and staff at risk from health effects.
