WUOT News Director Accepts 2009 Edward R. Murrow Award

 

WUOT News Director Matt Shafer Powell and his wife, Michelle, attended the Radio-Television News Directors Association’s 2009 Edward R. Murrow Awards Dinner on Oct. 12 in New York City. The 39th annual event honored outstanding achievements in electronic journalism.

Powell accepted WUOT’s first-ever National Edward R. Murrow Award in the Best Writing category.
