During his time in Washington, Jason interned at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and worked for the Associated Press Broadcast News Center as well as Foreign Policy magazine, published by the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

Jason is an experienced traveler and outdoor enthusiast. He enjoys camping, fishing, biking and practicing woodcraft and woodland skills, including making and playing his own bamboo flutes.
